Move over Ann Coulter... This is a review of two books, written as a pair:
If Republicans Had Any Hearts: They'd Be Democrats
and
The Spiritual Teachings & Biography of Master Krishna Venta: with Biography
Here is a brief summary of the contents of this book.
* Three Mass Murders
I grew up in a religious cult, which just happened to be involved in three mass murders. I will tell the world, for the first time, how these events were connected, and the real causes for so many deaths. My adult life started when I was a 16 year old preacher, teaching the Gospel to Charles Manson in 1968. You will learn about the insanity of our religion in this and my other book. I feel that it is critical for you to understand the minds and motivation of the leaders involved in these murders. We have another cult leader on the horizon, and he wants to be in command of thousands of nuclear weapons and trillions of dollars in cash. For too many politicians, it's always been about power and money, and don't you ever forget that fact of life.
* Barack Obama and Socialism
It is a bit upsetting to see someone hijack the Democratic Party, especially if they are die-hard Socialists. These days we call them Populists and Progressives, but back in the 1950s we just called them commies. What upsets me the most is the constant reference to the word Change, which has always meant zilch. The few solid examples of Change that I can find at the Obama website, and in the speeches, are way out of touch with the real world, and very dangerous. In this book you will learn a lot about Socialism and the Changes that Obama wants to make in your life. `Yes we can' stop this mob politics. And would you believe that I am a true liberal? Honest folks, I really do freak out at Republicans and ultra conservatives. So you may want to listen up when I tell you that Barack Obama is `right' of the Bush gang. Conservatives are control freaks, and Barack is one massive Socialist control freak. This is not an issue of race, and so throughout this book I ask you:
What would Colin Powell or Bill Cosby do?
* Immigration, Racism and Jobs
It is impossible to discuss jobs for the poor without also discussing racism and immigration. Employment for everyone is a complex problem, but the solutions are simple if we have the commitment that JFK spoke of in his inaugural address. My life experiences are extremely varied, and so I am one of the few people in this country that can actually look into my own past to understand every level of wealth, every level of culture, and every dream that we have. Many of these problems that politicians focus on are easily solved if we are all employed in jobs that we want, and not jobs that we have to settle for. So I really freak out at the proposals from the Socialist candidate for President who insists on giving you a make-work job that sucks. It doesn't get any dumber than this.
* Foreign Policy
One rather obvious subject in this book will be The Iraq War; or "How to use a compass when attacking the real enemy." I love it when people talk about Islam, and they don't even know that the Koran / Quran reads from back to front. Sadly enough, politicians don't understand that this war is not about religion. OK, so I do have the advantage of living in Saudi Arabia for a while, and I have actually read the Koran. This chapter will scare the socks off of you, and I would also say that Americans `better wake up and get it'. Then I will show you how to bring a permanent peace to the Middle East by hiring American Indians as forest rangers in California. I kid you not.
* Crime and Punishment
Crime and punishment are always hot topics during an election year, and as a victim of three gang attacks in just 5 weeks, I can assure you that I have some things to say about our sick cities. We will get into drugs (but not inhale), guns (but not shoot anyone), punishment (but no S&M, sorry Ann) and a few other issues. Spend a month in Ireland and you will think that the USA is some kind of psychotic nightmare dreamed up by Dean Koontz or Stephen King. Ann Coulter wants everyone to pack a gun, but lover boy Jon just wants to pack Ann in my suitcase as I head out to some paradise island.
* Education
California is cutting back on funding for schools, and Obama isn't helping to solve these problems with his bizarre ideas on education. Veterans are probably going to get a return of the benefits that Reagan revoked, so we will see how that may impact the colleges. We will look at education in America; and how to avoid the total disintegration of our society. You are what you learn, and society becomes what we teach. And from the nightmares that I see every day in the cities, our education system is a total failure, with a few exceptions.
* Environment
With energy prices out of control, the push is going to be extreme to compromise on the environment, and as usual the politicians are arguing about "How to solve the wrong problems with the wrong solutions". I have to wonder how a person like Al Gore can earn a Nobel Prize by just bitching. My ex-wife should have 5 of those prizes by now. I will tell you how to save the environment instead of just bitching about it. And in the process we will cut down more trees and waste more water than ever before. For real! Then I can get some sleep at night, knowing that global cooling is on the way.
* Health Care
Health care is the most wonderful service in the USA, but for some reason we have made it the most aggravating problem in our history. I have worked for a few of the big health insurance companies, and the complexities of the computer systems are unreal. I guess this is where my analytical mind takes over, because the solution is as simple as using a thermometer. And the section on Veterans will really blow your mind, and take the shirt off your back. I will stun you with information you have never heard, and you will truly understand the danger of messing with Veterans. Remember this always; people join the military with one thing in mind, how soon can I get the hell out. They also worry about how they will spend the rest of their lives if military service cripples their mind and/or body. And then the next thought is; what benefits do I get on my release?
* American Wealth
This chapter is all about American Wealth, Health, Opportunities and Poverty (AWHOP), and it is a whopper. I hope that you get some ideas about your own life, and your future. Poverty in America and around the world is always a hot topic, and as you would expect, the political candidates don't have a clue. In this chapter I will shock you to the core of your panties; and you will be royally pissed off at your candidate's total ignorance of what poverty is, and how to cure it. And wait till you read about a housing project that gives $300,000 homes to lazy bums who refuse to work.
* Technology
This chapter has some funky ideas not covered elsewhere in the book. Most of the hot topics, like `green jobs' were chosen by the political candidates. I will update the chapter online as I have time, so that by November 2008 you will have some pretty solid ideas about what you want from your government. I mean really folks; who really cares what the candidates want? It's our country, or so my history teacher tells me.
* Segregation
If we look at the ways in which we form little groups in our society, we may be able to see a positive, creative and constructive application of the concept of segregation. All of our lives can be enriched by doing `our own thing' instead of dumping all of our cultures into a melting pot. We have this weird reverence for American Indian customs, and yet we insist that African Americans melt into our European culture, or that we melt into theirs. And we start this chapter by learning how to dance.
* Ann Coulter
This book is a response to Ann and her very strange tirades against liberals and the Democratic Party. But it is also a response to `hate preachers', Socialists, political fools and lots of other people; none of whom I hate. They all have some good in them, and some have less good than others. So I picked out some prevalent topics from Ann's writings, and I hope that you get a chance to think about how you feel on these subjects.
* Brother Jon's Biography
This chapter discusses the events in my childhood, and gives you some clues about cult life. I really didn't want to go into this in detail, because what is past is done. But now we have the same cults doing the same things, and the kids are the real victims. Hopefully you can learn something from what I experienced.
* Children of the Fountain
Religion and child abuse come up in the news over and over again, yet we fail to take action because of some bizarre obsession with the `rights' of parents to destroy a child's life. Maybe this chapter will change your mind about the `rights' of religious nuts.
* Pimp for President
Both Thomas Jefferson and John Kennedy clearly stated that the Democratic Party represented people who would prefer to stand on their own two feet. They demanded that the government minimize any involvement in our lives. And here we are in a welfare bidding war, looking to buy the votes of Americans. In this chapter I get downright nasty, and I call those who would sell their vote `whores', and those who would give us money for our votes, `pimps'. And if the shoe fits, wear it. The shoes are made in China anyway.

If Reps were Dems, charities would get zip! According to Joe Fried in Democrats and Republicans - Rhetoric and Reality: Comparing the Voters in Statistics and Anecdotes charities would get an additional $56 Billion per year if Democrats gave as much in proportion to their incomes as Republicans give. Nuf said!
